Anyone can call first hand
After first hand, only lowest scoring team can call
If score is tied, anyone can call

Dealer and their partner can only call BLACK suits
LOD and ROD can only call RED cards

 

CLUB THE DEALER
STANDARD UNLESS A CLUB IS THE UPCARD, THEN THE DEALER MUST PICK IT UP

 

DEAD TRUMP
Played as standard except the same trump may not be called twice in a row
Anyone may call

 

DEALER DIGS SPADES
If the up card is a SPADE the DEALER must pick it up

Only the DEALER can call trump
The dealer can call first or second time around

 

DEALERS DREAM TEAM  
Only the DEALER calls trump until the team has 5 points
Once a team has 5 points, only the DEALER’S PARTNER can call trump

DEAL ME OUT 
PLAYED AS STANDARD EXCEPT THE DEALER MAY NOT CALL TRUMP
IF ALL PASS ON THE SECOND TIME AROUND AND IT REACHES RIGHT OF DEALER, THEN THEY MUST CALL

 

DEAL ME RED 
If the upcard is a red suit, dealer must pick it up and go alone.
If the upcard is black, dealer must pass and call a red suit alone
.

 

DEALERS SUICIDE 
DEALER must pick up the UPCARD and go ALONE.

 

DIRTY 9S AND 10S
Playes as standard unless a 9 or 10 is the upcard
If a 9 or 10 is up the dealer must pick it up

 

DOG HOUSE 
STANDARD euchre except if a player gets euchred, they are in the DOGHOUSE
The player in the doghouse CANNOT call trump until ...
Another player gets euchred and replaces them in the doghouse

 

DOUBLE TROUBLE 
Dealer must take the up card and go ALONE
LOD defends ALONE

 

DOUBLE TROUBLE REVERSE 
Play to lose
DEALER must take up card alone
LOD must defend alone
Any card picked up must be kept
